  1. You don't really need the vodka.


Prep

  1. Chop onion and garlic



Steps

  1. Melt butter and olive oil over medium heat
  2. Add onion, garlic and red pepper flakes
  3. Cook until translucent about 7-10 minutes
  4. Turn off heat
  5. Add vodka and turn heat back on to low
  6. Allow vodka to cook out, about 15 minutes
  7. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper to taste
  8. Simmer for 5 minutes on medium heat
  9. Heat on low, stir in heavy cream slowly while stirring continuously
  10. Bring sauce to a simmer again
  11. Combine with noodles (we use penne) and eat!
