Daddy's Pepper Sauce

David Dampier

2 cups ACV

1 cups Soy

3 Red bell peppers

3 Jalapeño peppers

1-3 extra peppers (optional: Serrano, Fresno, hot finger)

1 head garlic

1 med onion

1 package Blackberries

.5 cup Honey or brown sugar

3 tsp black pepper

  1. Cut all peppers into large pieces, they will boil down anyway, lay on tray and broil to blister. (The grill works too). Peel and smash garlic cloves
  2. Dice Onion, add 2 tbsp neutral oil to large pot and brown onions on med heat.
  3. Add liquids and fresh ingredients to pot and bring to a soft boil: ACV, soy, honey, blistered peppers, garlic, and blackberries.
  4. Reduce to simmer, cover, and let cook for about 30-40 minutes until the vegetables are breaking down.
  5. Blend into sauce, strain.
  6. Add black pepper, mix, bottle, refrigerate.
